Meet the Captains
Ian
Ian brings many years of hands-on experience sailing with travelers throughout the Faroe Islands. A trained carpenter with a strong technical mindset, he has owned and operated boats his entire life. His deep understanding of vessels, weather, and local conditions ensures that every trip is carried out with confidence, precision, and care.
Ian holds all required licenses and certifications to carry passengers and has been operating passenger tours for many years, ensuring a safe, professional, and reliable experience at sea.
Mads
Mads is a certified marine engineer with a strong professional background at sea and a lifelong bond to the ocean. He knows the local waters like the back of his hand and brings a high level of technical knowledge, safety awareness, and seamanship to every tour.
